Terms of Service
The ground rules for using our website and working with our team, in plain language.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Specialty Solution Services website and to any request you make to us through it, by phone, or by email. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “Specialty Solution Services” mean the company that operates this website. “You” means the person using the website or requesting our services.
Our services
We provide water damage mitigation and restoration services to homes and businesses across Central and East Coast Florida. Information on this website describes our services in general terms.
Work is performed under a separate written work authorization. Before work begins, you or your authorized representative will be asked to sign a work authorization that describes the scope of work, how charges are calculated, and how payment is handled. If anything on this website conflicts with your signed work authorization, the work authorization controls.
Emergency requests and response times
Every phone call is answered at any hour. Once we confirm your request, our certified team is dispatched from the Titusville area. Our stated maximum three-hour response time applies to the counties listed on our website under normal operating conditions. We also serve locations outside those counties, but do not guarantee an immediate response time.
Arrival times depend on your location, road and weather conditions, and demand. Road closures, unsafe conditions, hurricanes, tropical storms, regional flooding, or other widespread events may delay arrival. If there is a delay, we will tell you as soon as we know.
Estimates, pricing, and payment
Charges are described in your written work authorization. Water damage is often hidden inside walls, ceilings, and flooring, so the scope of work can change once our technicians have inspected the structure and measured moisture. When that happens, we will explain the change before proceeding with additional work wherever it is practical to do so.
You are responsible for payment for the services performed, including any insurance deductible and any amounts your insurance carrier does not pay, unless your written work authorization states otherwise. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to the collection terms in your work authorization.
Insurance claims
We work with all insurance carriers. We can prepare photo documentation, moisture logs, and a scope of work for your adjuster.
We are not your insurer or your public adjuster. We cannot guarantee that your claim will be approved, how much your carrier will pay, or how quickly. Coverage decisions are made by your insurance carrier under your policy. Any arrangement involving direct payment from your carrier will be set out in your written work authorization and will comply with Florida law.
Your responsibilities
To help us work quickly and safely, you agree to:
- Confirm that you own the property or are authorized to approve work on it.
- Give our team safe access to all affected areas, utilities, and shut-off valves.
- Tell us about any known hazards, such as electrical problems, asbestos, lead paint, mold, or sewage.
- Remove or point out valuables and fragile items before work begins, and tell us about pets on the property.
- Stop the source of water if you can do so safely, and keep people away from affected areas.
Standards and limits of our work
Our certified IICRC technicians perform water mitigation in line with the ANSI/IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration.
Mitigation reduces the risk of further damage, but it cannot undo damage that has already occurred. Some materials cannot be dried or saved, and conditions that existed before the water loss, such as prior leaks, rot, or mold, may affect the outcome. We do not guarantee that every material can be restored or that mold will never develop. We will tell you when we find materials that should be removed or replaced.
